# Installation Guide

### 🔑How do you redeem your Key?

#### Preparation

Make sure you're on Windows 10 (build **1809 or newer**) or Windows 11.

Check the [SpoofHWID status page](https://spoofhwid.com/status) and make sure your game is listed as **Supported**.

Restart your PC so you're starting from a normal, fresh Windows boot.

Close your game and its launcher (Steam, Epic Games, Battle.net and so on) before you spoof.

#### First start

Before downloading the software, you will need to disable your anti-virus. This is due to the nature of the software and how it interacts with your game. All products sold by TGModz are completely safe and do not contain any form of malicious code.

Go to the [SpoofHWID website](https://spoofhwid.com/) and create an account with an email you own. Don't use a temporary or shared email, because your license gets attached to this account.

Open **Account**, go to the **Subscriptions** tab and choose **Redeem key**. Paste your license key provided after purchase from TGModz exactly as you received it.

If it asks you to, choose an **application username & password**. You'll use these to log in to the SpoofHWID client.
{% endstep %}

Check that your subscription now shows on the Account page, then download the latest build from there.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Right-click the client and choose **Run as administrator**, then sign in with your application username & password. The loader checks your license and locks it to your PC.

On the **Home** screen, keep the generated seed (or enter a seed you saved before) and press **Start spoofing**. Wait for the completion message, then launch your game and enjoy!

#### Good to know

* **Restarted your PC?** Your real IDs are back. Run SpoofHWID again before you open your game. Sleep, signing out or closing the app does NOT reset it, only a restart does.
* **Want the same spoofed IDs every time?** Write down your seed and enter it again after each restart.
* **New PC or hardware?** Your license is locked to your PC. You can reset the device binding from your SpoofHWID Account page when eligible, or contact TGModz support.
* **Key won't redeem?** Contact TGModz support with the last 4 characters of your key. Never share passwords or verification codes with anyone.
